You guys. It's time I change my game up. I am 19 year old, and I need to stop dicking around. I've decided to change my artistic ways a bit. Even if I have to force myself, I am going to do this.

I'm am going to do minimal fanart from now on and focus on more original artwork. I mean, fanart is fun and all, and it's taught me a lot how to draw in different styles and such, yet I can't always rely on it. From now on, for the most part, I'm going to be doing original art.

Unless it's by request, or if it's for a comm on LJ, that will be the only time I will do real fanart.

And I've known that most of the pageviews and reviews I get stems from my fanart. And I do not feel very proud of it. I mean, I appreciate all the attention, and everyone who's ever commented, favorited, or even just stopped by my page for just a second, I really thank you for it.

But the only way for me to improve on my imagination and ideas is to draw something that comes from my own mind, and not from the minds of others.

I don't do fanart for attention. I've never did. I've only done it just for laughs, usually. Just to crack a joke. Besides, with oncoming attention, comes annoying beggers and a giant ego. Yuck.

I'm a little ashamed to admit that this is going to be hard . Not for original stuff, but just to resist to do fanart. I mean, I get these little funny ideas and I just have to draw them out. Jesus, I sound so whiney.

Anyway, that's the situation right now. Please unsupport my dirty habit :'(
